We have renewed our vehicle fleet, implemented additional driver training and certification programs, and taken maintenance in-house to give us complete quality control. We have enhanced insurance coverage to $8 million USD per incident, added staff at the saturated Cabo Airport, and increased use of toll roads, cutting travel time by an average of 30 minutes in each direction.

We have done all of this in the face of significantly increased costs for gasoline, imported parts and staff benefits (mandated by government). We have had no alternative but to increase our transfer prices in order to maintain the quality and safety you expect of us.

For those customers looking for a lower-priced alternative, we have maintained our shared shuttle services at 2022 levels.

Thank you for understanding, and for your continued loyalty and patronage.

The best time to visit Los Cabos is from November to April. The weather is fantastic, with temperatures in the mid-70s to low 80s Fahrenheit, perfect for all-day beach activities and boat trips. It's also the best time for whale watching. The rainy season is July to October, with the peak period for heavy rains, tropical storms, and hurricanes in August and September. While Cabo is susceptible to the outer edges of hurricanes and tropical storms, severe weather is less typical than in other hurricane-prone regions.

During the rainy and hurricane seasons, enjoy lower prices and smaller crowds. The warmer temperatures can be ideal for surfing and watching sea turtles hatch.

Well, the answer is complicated. The short answer is that Uber has had a long journey trying to get into the rideshare market in Mexico, and it isn't going to get easier soon. Uber is technically approved to operate in Los Cabos. However, be aware that the taxi drivers in Cabo don't like Uber, making it difficult for Uber drivers to get in the game. Uber is also not licensed to operate in the International Airport and Hotel Zones. Local authorities and the National Guard enforce the rules and restrictions on Uber, which can lead to inconvenience and trip disruptions for passengers. There have been many reports of tourists being late for their flight because their Uber driver cannot access the airport.

Taxis are a common form of transportation for tourists in Los Cabos. However, taxi drivers have a monopoly that allows them to charge what they want. To avoid any pricing surprises, confirm the price before accepting the ride. It's also advisable to use official taxi stands or reputable taxi companies to minimize the risk of scams. When using a taxi, always ensure that the driver's ID and the vehicle's license are visible, and consider sharing your ride details with a friend or family member. Taxis can operate using various types of cars, though passenger vans are standard. Be cautious of fake taxis, which are also common. Taking a taxi is not always the best method of getting from place to place, so it's essential to be aware of these potential issues.

Due to its calm waters and vibrant atmosphere, Medano Beach is Cabo San Lucas' main swimmable beach. Santa María Bay and Chileno Beach feature quiet coves that are safe for swimming and excellent for snorkeling. Lover's Beach (Playa del Amor) is known for its seclusion and clear waters. Beach flags in Los Cabos follow an international system: green for calm water, yellow for caution, red for hazardous conditions, and white for the presence of jellyfish. Always check the local beach flags before entering the water.

The driving distance between the downtown areas of San José del Cabo (SJD) and Cabo San Lucas (CSL) is approximately 30-40 kilometers (18-25 miles), or a 30-45-minute drive, depending on the specific route taken.

Los Cabos is a generally safe tourist destination, and measures are in place to ensure your safety. While violent crime affecting tourists is rare, it's always wise to be vigilant about scams and theft. Staying in reputable hotel zones, using reliable transportation, being aware of your surroundings, and avoiding isolated areas, particularly at night, are all ways to prioritize your safety. As with any travel destination, politely decline any offers of drugs, as they can lead to dangerous situations. Always check US and Canadian Government Travel Advisories for current updates.

Many clubs and bars don't get busy until after 10:30 PM, with the peak hours often between 11 PM and 2 AM. Avoid walking long distances at night, arrange for private or reliable transportation, stay in well-lit and crowded areas, and watch your drinks to ensure they haven't been tampered with. Be aware of your surroundings and stick with your group, especially in congested areas. Be mindful of your possessions. Stay away from drugs.

Los Cabos is served by two airports, providing travelers with convenient options. The larger Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) handles commercial flights, while the smaller Cabo San Lucas International Airport (CSL) is primarily for private jets, executive aviation, and flight training. Some commercial flights are also available at CSL, offering additional flexibility for travelers. This dual airport system ensures you can easily find a flight that suits your needs, making your travel experience more convenient and stress-free.

Activities in Cabo include water sports like snorkeling, diving, deep-sea fishing, exploring El Arco (The Arch), and surrounding beaches by boat. Other popular activities include whale watching, relaxing on Medano Beach, hiking, riding camels in the desert, dune buggy tours, ATV guide rides, and the local farm-to-table dining scene. Sea turtle conservation tours that help save wildlife and give back to locals.

Yes, you can surf in Los Cabos year-round, with summer and fall offering larger swells for experienced surfers, while winter brings milder conditions ideal for beginners. The region features various breaks for all skill levels, including gentle beginner-friendly spots like Acapulquito Beach (Old Man's) and more advanced reef breaks such as Zippers. You can find surf schools and lessons tailored to your experience level, with many offering transport and gear. This year-round surfing paradise will surely excite your adventurous spirit, offering a unique and thrilling experience no matter when you visit.

Todos Santos is approximately 110km (70 miles) from San Jose, about an hour and fifteen minutes' drive from SJD Airport. It's a designated "Magic Town" known for its bohemian vibes, historic architecture, opportunities for outdoor adventures, vibrant art scene, uncrowded Pacific beaches with surfing and whale watching, delicious farm-to-table restaurants, and laid-back, authentic Mexican atmosphere.

For an authentic dining experience, we recommend Tacos at La Lupita, Mexican food at Tres Gallos, Fresh Sea Food at Tres Islas, Toro Wero, and Barrio del Tango if you like steak. If you want a farm-to-table experience, try Flora Farm, El Huerto, Acre, and Tamarindos.

When it comes to water safety, Los Cabos has you covered. Major resorts and larger establishments generally provide safe, purified water. Many restaurants use purified or filtered water for their ice and beverages, often sourced from large, purified water jugs called garrafones. Drinking purified water from a garrafón (large water jug) is common in Cabo, as it's the standard for most households and resorts. The house water served at resorts typically comes from these large purified garrafones and is considered safe. However, it's important to note that the tap water in Cabo is not safe for drinking. So, while you can rest assured that you can enjoy your stay in Los Cabos without worrying about the water, it's best to use bottled, garrafón, or filtered water for drinking and brushing your teeth, ensuring your health and peace of mind during your trip.

Whales are in Cabo from December to April, with the best sightings typically occurring between January and March. The peak of the season and the highest chance of seeing whale activity are during January and February, with baby whales also visible.
