Cabo Transfers General Terms & Conditions

  • Private Vehicle Transfer services use the new Toll Highway, round-trip.
  • Shuttle services may use the Transpeninsula Highway or Toll Highway, depending on time of day and traffic conditions.
  • All arrival transportation services include one bottle of water per person.
  • Private Hourly Rentals of 4 hours or more, or all-day rentals, are restricted to the Los Cabos area and include one tank of gasoline.
  • Cabo Transfers assumes no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, poor road conditions, or other factors beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify the routing and itineraries in the event of road closures, force majeure, or to ensure passenger safety.

No Shows & Cancellations

  • Cancellations received 24 hours prior to arrival will not incur any fees.
  • Notice received less than 24 hours prior to arrival will be subject to a 50% charge.
  • Less than 12 hours' notice, or no shows in the arrival or departure service, are non-refundable.

Children

  • Child seats are available, and more information about makes and models is available by request. There is no extra charge for using any of our car seats. Car seats are subject to availability and must be requested in advance.
  • Passengers with young children must provide notice of their child seat requirement and confirm availability of the appropriate size and model.
  • Passengers are welcome to bring their own child seats.
  • Use of a childcare seat on Shared Shuttle Transfers will be charged as a one-person fare.

Pets

  • Pets are welcome in Private Vehicle Transfers and must be transported in a pet carrier.

Luggage Rules & Details

  • A passenger's baggage remains the passenger's responsibility at all times.
  • Shared Shuttle Service - Two pieces of checked luggage (60LB max) and two pieces of carry-on per person. Checked baggage includes most commercially available luggage and moderately sized boxes or parcels.
  • Private Vehicle Transfer – If traveling with extra checked luggage or multiple large boxes, consider selecting an appropriate larger vehicle with extra luggage capacity.
  • Extra and oversized luggage, including wheelchairs, bringing surfboards, golf bags, fishing equipment, large-size coolers, and bicycle boxes, is allowed only in private services. The driver can help with overweight luggage, with the assistance of a second person.
  • An electric wheelchair does not fit in a standard van; please verify the availability of a special vehicle.
  • Cabo Transfers and its agents cannot be held responsible for any damage caused to luggage while in the vehicles or while loading and unloading.

Grocery Stops

  • With a Private Vehicle Transfer, passengers can stop at a department store, supermarket, or Home Depot on the way to their hotel or residence. The cost is $40 USD for up to 1 hour of shop time. In most situations, shuttle passengers do not have the option to stop at the shop.

Lost & Found

  • A passenger's baggage always remains the passenger’s responsibility. Cabo Transfers is not liable for lost or misplaced luggage.
  • Passengers are responsible for ensuring all their luggage is removed from the vehicle upon arrival at their destination.
  • Cabo Transfers will make every effort to determine the ownership of any found belongings and to contact the passenger to arrange for the return of the items.
  • Lost & Found items must be claimed within 90 days. Passengers are responsible for any shipping or courier costs associated with returning their belongings.

Text Messaging

By "Opting In" to or using a “Text Message Service” (as defined below) from Cabo Transfers, you accept these Terms & Conditions.

DEFINITIONS

"Opting In," "Opt In," and "Opt-In" refer to requesting, joining, agreeing to, enrolling in, signing up for, acknowledging, responding to, or otherwise consenting to receive one or more text messages.

"Text Message Service" includes any arrangement or situation in which we send one or more messages addressed to your mobile phone number, including text messages (such as SMS, MMS, or successor protocols or technologies).

CONSENTING TO TEXT MESSAGING

By consenting to receive text messages from us, you agreed to these Text Messaging Terms and Conditions, as well as our https://www.cabotransfers.com/terms-conditions/ and https://www.cabotransfers.com/privacy-policy/, incorporated herein by reference.

E-SIGN DISCLOSURE

By agreeing to receive text messages, you also consent to the use of an electronic record to document your agreement. You may withdraw your consent to the use of the electronic record by replying STOP.

TEXT MESSAGE SERVICE PRIVACY POLICY

We respect your privacy. We only use information you provide through this service to transmit your mobile messages and respond to you. This includes, but isn't limited to, sharing information with platform providers, phone companies, and other vendors who assist us in the delivery of mobile messages. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Nonetheless, we reserve the right always to disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any law, regulation or governmental request, to avoid liability, or to protect our rights or property. This Text Message Service Privacy Policy applies to your use of the Text Message Service and isn't intended to modify our general “Privacy Policy” incorporated by reference above, which may govern the relationship between you and us in other contexts.

COSTS OF TEXT MESSAGES

We do not charge you for the messages you send and receive via this text message service. But message and data rates may apply, so depending on your plan with your wireless or other applicable provider, you may be charged by your carrier or other applicable provider.

FREQUENCY OF TEXT MESSAGES

This Text Messaging Service is for conversational person-to-person communication between you and our employees. We may send you an initial message providing details about the service. After that, the number of text messages you receive will vary depending on how you use our services and whether you take steps to generate more text messages from us (such as by sending a HELP request).

OPTING OUT OF TEXT MESSAGES

If you no longer want to receive text messages, you may reply to any text message with STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE. As a person-to-person communication service, opt-out requests are specific to each conversation between you and one of our employees and their associated phone number. After unsubscribing, we may send you confirmation of your opt-out via text message.
